Here is a lil study i've made of a painting made by William Bouguereau called " La leçon difficile " (hard lesson).

I thought i'd learn alot from it and i actually did much more that what i was expecting first.

Finally finish !
Well , i've start this portrait a while ago... But I've been very busy with school after starting it so.... it took a looonggg time to complete.
Well i guess I could have work the hair a lil bit more.... But OMG , I've try about 5 time to just restart it all over then....I came with this conclusion : OMG , how can people paint curly hair ! this is such a pain ! I usually enjoy painting hair, but well , i'll stick to straight hair now , or pass 30 more hours praticing before posting an other painting with curly hair in it haha
BTW ! Thanks a lot to those who helped me during the process as Kay-ness ,azurelle , case....
(and sorry anna , your hair tutorial is sure great , but yes , I still can't paint hair haha ^^)

I finally did it ^^. Hugs and kisses to everyone who helped me out during the painting process to get my composition right . (stalhberg , kayness , azurelle and all my lovely friends ) Sorry If i did'nt follw all the tips you guys gave me , but if i would , i would have lost all the first idea I had of the painting. But all your tips were very very helpful , thx a lot ^^.

So , own reference have been used for the character ( But i've lost it during the process and i had a hard time after haha)

Here is my last composition. I tried something totally different from my other paintings. I never used that kind of color before , and i never painted water as well...
I'm not totally satisfy with the rock (an other thing i never did before) and the hood , but well... I put a sooo long time on that painting that i've come to think that I would start to hate it if i would pass more time on it .

Here is my whole new painting ! That was the first time i was working with a deadline (wich is christmas) and i really enjoyed it (much faster with it). In fact , this piece is also an autoportrait , i was'nt very confortable at first with the idea of painting my own face but finaly all goes well.

Here is my favorite work. Why , Why??? For 2 very simple reason :


First , I've put so much time on it , I've put more time on this one then on all the other work i did before all put together.
Second : Dont u think this centaure is amazing? you should ! or i'll hit u ! , just kiding ! But the model i took to do this gorgeous centaure is the one i love more then everything else. That such a pretty good motivation.
At all , I'm not sure i love the mouth , on full view , i found it okay , but.... i'm kinda sceptique , but at least i've decided to let it like that.
But I've get all the feeling i wanted by my centaure and the background. (i really enjoy the forest , a lil bit dark , full of mist , kinda mysterious)

There is some mistake in my archer shape , I KNOW that the position is'nt right , but.... Forget thattt !!!!
so.... hope u'll enjoy guy ^^

A big thanx you to my boyfriend to give me the idea of this work , and the model i wanted !

Dont you find she got a lovely and penetratring stare? dont you? well , if u dont , i miss all the feeling i wanted to get by this work. i've put so much time working on the eye , wich is my favorite part of all the human body ! There is maybe many mistake again in my face shape (some of my friend talk me about my nose wich is supose to be a little weird.... they are right i think lool) I mean , my symetrie in that work is not perfect , my nose is not either.... buuuuttt i've got to work on other thing then i decided to let it like that . I'm maybe wrong not to correct it , but i'm happy with it even there is many mistake....
so ! hope u'll enjoy it ^^
All done in photoshop in about 10 -15 hour (yeah that pretty long for that result but well...)

Here is the first project that i've done before i get my Wacom . It is full of mystake , there is not the better quality of work that you can get but at the end.... i dont dislike it.
I wanted by this illustration too inspire an quietude , joyfull and plaisant quietude. With a fun touch of fantasy . I first wanted to do some fairies but i become tired at the end then i choose just to do some elves.
I take a model for this picture , i've inspire myself of a picture of my twin sister and myself when we were young.
